Who We Are

EASTERN REGIONAL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY(E.R.I.S.T) Has been started with definite aim to motivate the unemployed youth to learn job oriented and self-employment of the North–East Region. ERIST has succeeded in providing quality vocational education to several thousand young man and woman of the Region.

Skill development is the key to Vocational training, and this is the motto of ERIST. Our emphasis has been on performance and not merely on knowledge .This is precisely the reason for our students being suitably employed in Government, semi Government and corporate organizations. It is no exaggeration to say that ERIST has been recognized as a trend-setter in the field of vocational and commercial education in this Region.

Our emphasis is always on competency-based training. Besides vocational training, students will be taught communication and soft skill along with other employable skills that will make them easily employable.

We are associated with the Gramin Skill Development Mission (GSDM)-NSDC Skill, BSS, Planning Commission, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
